INVESTITURE OF THE 27TH CHAIRMAN AND EXCO MEMBERS OF NIESV LAGOS STATE BRANCH
NIESV Lagos Branch Invests New Chairman, Exco
It was a professional glitz and glamour yesterday 24th August, 2021 at the Investiture of the 27th Chairman of NIESV Lagos State Branch, ESV (Mrs) Olabisi Demola-Alade FNIVS and other members of the Branch Executive Committee 2021-2023 noble year at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja Lagos.
In his goodwill message, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State congratulated the new Chairman. He noted that the state, which is Nigeria’s commercial hub has been able to secure and improve the technical knowledge entailed in landed economy valuation through the efforts and professional inputs of estate surveyors and valuers in the state.
The governor was represented by the Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Moruf Akinderu Fatai at the august occasion.
“I will urge the new administration led by Mrs Olabisi Demola-Alade to build on the goodwill and cooperative support between the Lagos State Government and the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in Lagos State,” the governor said.
He also congratulated the Immediate Past Chairman, ESV Adedotun Bamigbola FNIVS for “his vibrant and effective model of leadership which has further consolidated the ranking of the institution in Lagos as a giant in estate surveying and valuation” practice.
To the new Chairman, Mr Sanwo-Olu said, “ESV (Mrs) Olabisi Demola-Alade, I congratulate you on your ascension to this position. I am without doubt that given your experience as the past vice chairman of the Branch and the wealth of knowledge you have accumulated in the Lagos State Government Lands Bureau, you are equipped to take up this leadership position and even surpass the legacies of the past Chairman.”
The President of NIESV, ESV Sir (Chief) Emmanuel Okas Wike FNIVS, RSV, FMD, RWA congratulated the Branch’s first female Chairman and enjoined the Vice Chairman, the Immediate Past Chairman and other members of the Exco as well as all members of the Branch to support the Branch Chairman.
In his Keynote address, Mr Kingsley Okechukwu Mojekwu encouraged estate surveyors and valuers to lead the synergy with other professionals in the built sector.
The investiture was attended by many senior professionals, who are past chairmen of “The Very Branch”, Council members of the Institution, the President, 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents, top public sector officials, captains of industries who are partners of the Branch and leading partners of Estate Surveying and Valuation firms.
