“The Very Branch” Visits Lagos State Valuation Office
It was another rendezvous of seasoned real estate professionals in the public and private sectors of the economy when a delegation of the Exco, NIESV Lagos Branch led by its indefatigable chairman, ESV (Mrs) Olabisi Demola-Alade FNIVS visited the Lagos State Valuation Office, Government Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos today, 17th August, 2021.
The Exco delegation comprising the Chairman; the Hon. Secretary, ESV Mosunmola Akindiose ANIVS; Chairman of Welfare Subcommittee, ESV Wasiu Olayinka FNIVS; and ESV Tawa Taiwo ANIVS, also a member of the Welfare Subcommittee were received by the Director, Valuation Office, ESV Kunle Awolaja FNIVS in company of ESV Oladapo Ogunlewe FNIVS and other staff members of the Valuation Office.
The courtesy visit yielded a rubost discussion during which the Chairman said her regime takes the welfare of members a priority in her 10-Point Agenda.
She said; she found it pleasurable to meet with Estate Surveyors & Valuers physically at their places of work to feel their pulses and know their exact welfare and professional development needs, adding that the Valuation Office remained a critical public sector department with many ESVs rendering their professional services that are critical for government goals to be met.
Responding, the Director noted that this was the first time the Branch would be visiting the Valuation Office as part of its welfare programme.
He was full of thanks to the Chairman and the Exco and pledged his Office’s support to the Exco.
Both parties agreed that with a public sector real estate professional as Chairman of the Branch, now is the time to build and maintain synergy between real estate professionals from the public and private sectors of the state.
